Overview
The Centre for Islamic is openly solely for the purpose of the community. We offer religious and spiritual advice in all aspects of Islam. Our projects are spearheaded by qualified Islamic dignitaries that are experienced in giving Daw’ah, teaching and carrying out social and cultural activities. They combine regular religious teachings (in English, Arabic & Bengali) training Muslims throughout the world.
Religious Advice and Counseling
The Centre for Islamic Guidance is giving the opportunity for Muslims to turn to for help and advice in all aspects of life. The centre has access to Imams trained to advise and counsel the concerns of individuals from our community including cultural and educational challenges, bereavement, mediation and social problems.
Lectures and Training
The Centre for Islamic Guidance offer regular Tafsir of the Qur’an in English and Bengali with various Halaqahs on a range of topics open to all age groups. We run programmes in leadership and social cohesion as well as training in issues related to Fiqh.
Marriage
The Centre for Islamic guidance understands that making a difference in society can come primarily through a successful family life. Marriage is seen as a great joy and the building blocks of a successful family life. Here at the centre we facilitate for the solemnization of and Islamic contract of marriage. A further certificate of ‘Nikah’ will be provided for newly-married couples confirming they have been married according to Islamic Shariah Law.
