Working Together

At the Centre for Islamic Guidance, we believe that we can make a positive impact on our community by working together. We already have been working with various different organisations to provide a number of services that we have not included in this newsletter. These organisations include the likes of the Islamic cultural centre Darul Ummah, East London Mosque, and the Markfield institute of higher education. We also have various relationship with institutions and community interest groups abroad. We want to build on those relationships and further expand our network.

One of the more notable smaller groups that we have been working with include the Middle Path Network. The Middle Path Network is made of a small group of volunteers from our local area. They are a community interest group that work on principles of Islam to promote social cohesion. You may know them as the group that bought you Sweet Eid last year and a various number of other small projects. Alhamdulilah, we have been able to work closely with them and are particularly proud to have helped with the New Muslim Focus initiative. The initiative aims to provide our new muslims brothers and sisters the support they may need as they are new to Islam. Alhamdulilah, we have already held two events and intend to host many more.

We understand that there are many more various organisations and institutions that are available who specialise in a particular service and as a community center we want help to refer those in need to the right people. So, we would like to say, that as long as their is somebody who can benefit our community, our doors are always open.
