As a community service we are proud to say we have had the ability to give members of the public work experience opportunities. Here at the CIG, we welcome anybody to come and volunteer so they they can learn valuable life skills in a work environment to help prepare themselves for the working world.
We have had various adults come and volunteer at the centre to help lead and establish some of our projects by either leading their inspired ideas of taking a smaller administrative role.
We were particularly proud of being able to offer some local kids from various schools a two week work experience starting just before Ramadan. During the two week scheme, the students engaged in marketing, admin work and inspired the setup of a project to feed the homeless. We hope to be able to deliver this service soon.
